Maximize Your Maintenance Plan

Maximize Your Maintenance Plan

You’ve invested wisely into a YWM maintenance plan, but now what?

As the weeks and years at your business tick on, it’s easy to forget about the upkeep of your website. What new content have you added to the site?  Do you want to revamp the site to look more modern? Does your website bring you the traffic, leads, and sales you want?

Unlike other website management companies, YellowWebMonkey offers personalized maintenance plans that can be tailored to fit your specific needs. Whether it’s design help you’re after or more technical support on the backend, be sure you’re getting the most out of your maintenance plan investment.

Here at YWM we want to stock your Joomla toolbox with as many resources as possible. We want our customers to feel empowered and knowledgeable enough to make simple adjustments and tweaks to their website, which is why we have a plethora of online tutorials and offer training webinars twice a month.

These hours do not roll over, so it’s important that you take advantage of them before the end of the month. Don’t worry, if you use up your monthly support time but still have more work to be done, we will simply pause and pick up where we left off the next month.

If you aren’t sure how to utilize your maintenance support hours, below is a non-exhaustive list of tasks that could be completed during this time:

  • Remodel Site: This can be as simple as freshening up an outdated page or redesigning the entire site—your YWM design specialists can bring your vision to life!
  • Optimize a Page: Do you have an event coming up? Or a new product to sell? Ask us to optimize that page to have more conversions.
  • Improve Mobile/Tablet friendly pages: Your site is already “mobile friendly” and sizes properly on devices.  However, optimizing on mobile for usability requires shortening content, hiding sections, and image variants.
  • Add Features: Do you want to sell a product on your page? Maybe you need a way to collect visitors’ emails? Your YWM design specialist can tailor new design features to fit your specific needs.
  • Get Graphic Design Work: Does your logo need a facelift? Are your images outdated? YWM has graphic design specialists who can freshen up your website with updated images or curate a new theme for your site.
  • Make A Landing Page: Are you running an advertising campaign on social media? Have you invested into a Google Adwords campaign? Be sure you’re getting the most out of your advertising investment by creating a landing page for your campaign. Because landing pages are designed with a specific call-to-action in mind, they are more effective at converting site visitors into consumers, than simply sending visitors to your homepage.
  • You want it all? Make us a running list of improvements and we will work through it monthly and pause when you run out of time.

Are you still not sure how to use your maintenance time?

  • Ask Us for Suggestions! You can use your maintenance time for a consultation with a YWM design specialist who will pinpoint areas of potential improvement for your site. You can also use this consultation time to share your vision with the design specialist and together you can create a maintenance plan to-do list for your site.

Your YWM team is here to serve you, so if you would like to use your support hours for tasks not listed above please let us know. We are a full-service website management team which means most website design tasks will fall within our scope of expertise. We know that your time is best spent focusing on your business, so be sure to maximize your maintenance plan and leave the website design work to us!
