"Back in October I decided to finally revamp my website with some new features and capabilities that it needed as well as change some of the design. So I began my search for a company that could take on the project and like many other people I ran an ad on Craigslist for a web designer. I did, of course, get the usual suspects, the overseas companies and people from all over the country, as well as some companies from Texas and some from right here in Austin. I always like to deal with local people whenever I can so I really wanted someone from the Austin area to take on the project.

After a disastrous experience with one local "web developer" who managed to do mostly nothing and charge an outlandish fee for it, I was very cautious about my second venture into the world of website design. As it turns out, the very best choice that could be made was not in Austin at all but in Waco. Waco you say? Yes, a company called "The Yellow Web Monkey" owned by Alexis Marks in Waco took on the project and did a fantastic job with all aspects that were involved in the process from beginning to end. Alexis did a phenomenal job of design, construction, and transfer of content from the old site and answered every question I had while doing it all on time and on budget. I was very pleased to say the least and in turn, I would recommend her company to anyone in the music biz who needs a website built or revamped, or for the many other web oriented facets that they are certainly capable of handling.
