YellowWebMonkey is a growing web design company based out of Hewitt, TX. We serve clients in all of Central Texas from Salado to Hillsboro. All employees of YellowWebMonkey telecommute for work and we use the various local Starbucks for meeting with clients. Not having the overhead of a storefront allows us to provide the savings onto our clients (and gives us an excuse to drink more coffee).
The company is founded on the principles of honest work; professional demeanor, making deadlines, and providing the best customer service possible to our clients. All employees are self-starters and enjoy an environment where they can complete excellent work without someone over their shoulder.

YellowWebMonkey Web Design is currently looking to hire several entry level interns to work as contractors on a per-project basis. Two of these workers will get a full-time paid internship for the summer.
This position is ideal for someone looking to get experience in the marketing, web design, or graphic design fields.
Ideal candidate is hard working, a team player, and willing to learn things. There are several "tracks" of internship positions. Candidate should be proficient in all of the Jack of All Trades tasks as well as one set of the specific area.
JACK OF ALL TRADES
- Researching the internet/moving content
from one site to another
- Creating Slideshows
- Creating training manuals
- Ability to provide professional customer service.
MARKETING
- Very proficient with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Foursquare, etc)
- Familiar with blogs (finding niche, choosing content, writing, and RSS feeds)
- Strong research skills and ability to assemble marketing plans and market research.
WEB DESIGN
- Proficient in HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of coding fundamentals and able to understand code without graphical editor
- Familiarity with content management systems (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal)
GRAPHIC DESIGN
- Competent on basic skills on Adobe CS3/CS4
- Able to create original logos
- Able to digitize print and pixel images into vector quickly.
-Able to effectively take feedback and modify designs.
